Trust Your Gut

When we have too much swimming around in our head, it’s easy to become overwhelmed. It's important to get clarity by getting all the tasks and thoughts out of your head and onto paper. That way you know what you need to do every day, week, and month.

After you have a clear to-do list, the next step is to create calm within yourself. Focus your breath. Turn your stress into power. It’s okay to get overwhelmed. It’s not okay to stay there.

Surround yourself with people who are managing their stress and finding zen.

Like attracts like.

This begins with you.

Look at yourself, look at your studio and at your inner-circle.

Ask yourself if the people around you are calming down, do they experience more peace and have greater self-mastery from being in your studio?

Is what you’re teaching and modeling translating out to the people around you. Are you helping others manage their own stress? It’s likely your students are drawn into the practice because they have stress and are overwhelmed. We are helping them tap into their stillness.

Are you creating a place of zen and calm for your students as well as for yourself?

This all begins with knowing yourself and becoming clear about the ways you need to grow.

Everyone is going to have their own personality and their own go-to energy. When you hire and surround yourself with people in your studio it’s important to go with your gut and bring in people who can contribute to the energy in a positive and calm way.

It's all part of self-mastery.
